July 2025 Key Enhancements for Mentor
Service Module Enhancements:
- Email Facility: Users can now email customers directly from within the service module. This streamlines communication by allowing service personnel to send emails without leaving the system.
- Image and Document Upload: The system now supports the upload of images and documents against a service job. This is a significant enhancement as, previously, such uploads were only possible against the customer or the stock vehicle, allowing for more comprehensive job-specific documentation.
- Re-issue Service Invoices: Users have the ability to re-issue service invoices if a customer's name or address requires correction after the original invoice has been generated. This action creates a new revision, ensuring the original invoice is preserved, with revisions clearly marked by a revision number in the generated PDF document.
- Service Booking Diary Improvements: When the service booking diary is in technician mode, job notes are shown directly within the diary.
- Technician Efficiency Report: There is now an option to use the sold hours on a job instead of costed hours within the technician efficiency report. This provides more flexible and potentially more accurate reporting on technician performance.
- Customer Statement Printing: Support has been added for customer statement printing specifically for the service module, enhancing the financial reporting capabilities for service operations.
Sales and Order Form Enhancements:
- Planner Label Updates: The DMS vehicle order form now supports automatic updates to the planner label (products) when an order is approved. This automation improves data consistency and reduces manual entry.
- Sales Managers Planner: Support has been added for additional custom tick columns on the sales managers planner, allowing for greater customisation and tracking of sales activities.
Reporting and Administration Enhancements:
- Invoice Notifications: An option has been enabled for users to receive notifications (via email) when a vehicle has been invoiced, with a copy of the invoice attached. This automates critical communication and record-keeping for vehicle sales.
Integration Enhancements:
- Stellantis Service Box Integration: Support has been added for the Stellantis Service Box integration, enabling data transfer and seamless operations with Stellantis systems.
- Marketing to Deleted Customers: Support has been added for marketing to deleted customers via the campaign wizard, expanding the reach of marketing campaigns.
